Teddy Bear Hospital

NUIG’s Teddy Bear Hospital is hitting it’s 8th year this month, on the 24th and 25th of January. This event is organised by the Sláinte Society, and will see up to 1,500 sick teddy bears being admitted and treated by some experienced medical students. The aim of this project is to make children feel comfortable and relaxed at hospital visits.

Earlier today, I spoke with the co-organiser of the sláinte society, Henry Roberts, and asked him more about this very interesting event.
